MEET DR. CANDACE VENEBERG
Dr. Candace Veneberg or “Dr. V” as the kids call her, is a mom, veteran, and a board certified pediatric dentist. With over 15 years of experience in dentistry, she is passionate about providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Prior to going back to school for 2 additional years to specialize in pediatric dentistry, she practiced general dentistry while serving in the US Army. Her understanding of dentistry for all ages has given her unique insight about the importance of providing a kind, safe and fun environment at an early age.
1982 - 1998
Met childhood pediatric dentist, Dr. Elizaebeth Barr at age 8. Dr. Barr served as Dr. Veneberg's inspiration to become a pediatric dentist.

1991
Enlisted in US Army for a four year commitment as a supply specialist. Lived on the east coast, Germany Saudi Arabia and Texas
July: Completed 4 years of active duty in the US Army. August: Started degree in Biology at University of Texas at San Antonio
1995
1998
Started journey of 4 years of dental school at UTHSCA.
2001 - 2005
Dental mission trip to Guatemala

2002
March: Dental mission trip to Guatemala. May: Graduated with Doctorate of Dental Surgery at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) June: Active duty in Army, stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, first position as a general dentist
September: Completed one year advanced general dentistry residency at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky October: Stationed in the Bavaria region of Germany as a general dentist
2003
2005
Deployed in May to Iraq as a general dentist, completed 6 month deployment in Iraq, relocated back to Germany.
2006 - 2010
Began Pediatric Dental Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Clinical rotations at Scottish Rite Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center-Dallas

March: Dental Mission Trip to Honduras. June: Graduated from Pediatric Dental Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry. July: Stationed in Seoul South Korea, practiced pediatric dentistry for children of active duty members
August: Completed over 8 years of active duty service in the US Army as a dentist, 12 years total active military service. September: Transferred to National Guard, position as dentist. October: Practiced pediatric dentistry in Private practice in Central and NW Arkansas.

2011 - NOW
July: Married husband, Ryan September: Became a Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, aka board certified pediatric dentist

Relocated to Scottsdale, New Owner of Dental Associates for Kids Only

Office makeover complete with new technology and paperless charts
Office name officially changed to Little White Tooth Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Veneberg completed 20 years of military service including active duty and national guard.

Dr. Veneberg retired from the Army with 21 years of military service.
